Manager / Assistant Manager - HSE Sapura Crest Petroleum

Responsibilities:

* The duties Safety and Health Officer shall as stated in OSHA 1994, Occupational Safety and Health (SHO) regulations 1997.
* Champion and manage the overall responsibility of the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Department.
* Carry out the duties and responsibilities as the company’s Quality Management Representative.
* Carry out the duties and responsibilities as the Designated Person required by the ISM Code for vessels operated.
* Responsible in the maintenance of Safety Manuals, Safety Procedures, Emergency Response Plans and the company’s HSE Management System.
* Develop and ensure company HSE procedures comply to the Malaysian and International Safety Legislation such as the OSHA 1994, SOLAS 1974 and IMO Modu Code.
* Conduct audit and surveillance exercise on HSE matters to ensure employees comply to the HSE Management System’s policies and procedure requirements.


Requirements:

* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in HSE and /or equivalent. Diploma from NIOSH preferred.
* Candidate must registered with DOSH.
* At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
* Matured, pleasant, presentable with good interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
* Possess excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
* Able to interact and communicates well with all level of management and people.
* Experience in oil and gas company will be advantage.
