Responsibilities
- Facilitates implementation of basic HSE program requirements within the HSE Management System to ensure practical, cost-effective measures are in place within the workplace, and a Safety Culture exists to ensure employees are accountable and responsible for health, safety andenvironmental conditions and practices.
- Facilitates implementation of the HSE Management System including incident investigations and hazardassessments.
- Conducts safety and/or environmental audits and inspectsfacilities within geographic area of responsibility to ensure a safeworking environment and compliance with regulatory laws.
- Conducts orientations, visits work sites, and distributes literature to implementand promote safety and/or environmental policies and procedures.
- Presents information and responds to questions or concerns from employees, managers, clients and the general public.
- Handles specialprojects, as assigned.
Requirements
- Knowledge of and ability to use fundamental concepts, practices andprocedures of particular field of specialization.
- Strong analyticalskills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Degree with 2 years+ experience.
