EHS Manager - ST Microelectronics (Muar)

Environment, Health & Safety Manager


Responsibilities:

To comply with all company corporate policies, procedure and standards that related to EHS.

To comply with DOE, NIOSH & EHS standards. (Final Discharge, IETS – Biological & Chemical, & etc)

Drive the plant-wide programs and policies on EHS management system compliance to ISO 14001, 18000 & EMAS.

Ensure the EHS systems / programs are in place for compliance with local EHS law and regulations

Responsible for all EHS related issues and ensuring that the company is in compliance with corporate policies, local regulations and/or agency rules, standards and guideline such as DOSH, DOE, Ministry of Health Department, BOMBA and other insurance bodies.

Enforce corporate EHS procedures across employee, contractors, vendors, sub-contractors & suppliers.

Develop EHS management system including reports preparation & submission (internal & external requirements)

Responsible for all fire protection systems – operation and maintenance.

Requirements:


Candidate must process at least Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree OR Master Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical/Material Science/Chemical), Engineering ( Environmental Health & Safety), Engineering (Industrial) OR equivalent.
Required Skill(s) : Hazop, HSE & Environment Safety

Qualified Occupational Safety & Health certificate from NIOSH (green book)

Good knowledge in related laws and legislations such as Factories and Machinery Act and
Regulations; and Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 and other requirements.

Understand & Familiar with ISO 14001, OSHAS 18000 & EMAS.

Minimum 5 years of experience in EHS field in manufacturing, preferably in semiconductor/fab.
