HSE Officer-Cocoaland Industry S/B (Rawang)

We are a well established main board public listed company involving in food confectionery in Rawang, Selangor. In line with our expansion program, we are looking for suitable candidate to fill the following position:-


HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL OFFICER
(Selangor - Rawang)


Responsibilities:

Maintain and administer Occupational Safety & Health policies, procedures and practices to comply with regulatory such as Department Safety & Health (DOSH), Department of Environmental (DOE) and etc.
Manage and support improvement programs, identify and evaluate workplace hazards
Maintain reports of industrial accidents and determine root issues for management action.
To conduct Safety & Health training to employees.
Ensure company Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) system compliance with government regulation and requirements.
Liaise with government agencies on matters related to DOSH, DOE and Bomba.
Establish and implement HSE procedures and processes.
Identify and evaluate existing workplace hazards.
Provide expert advice to management on all HSE issues and concerns.
Responsible for the adherence and implementation of Safety & Health policies, procedures and practices.
Must be self-oriented with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:


Certificate/Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health from NIOSH.
At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Required skill : Registered Safety Officer.
Preferably skill : Excellent interpersonal skills.
Required languages : English, Bahasa Malaysia.
Ablility to work independently with high degree of commitment to ensure a healthy and safe working environment.
